These are the "extras" that I can build into your
web site to give the visitor a more dynamic, enriched experience.
Message Board - a simple bit of
code which enables any visitor to "sign the guest book", as it were.
This can also be used to post Hot News onto your web site, without having to
contact your web designer or get involved in any of that nasty FTP business.
E-mail Form - a simple form
that your visitor can fill in to send you an e-mail. The beauty of this form
is that you don't have to make your e-mail address public, thus avoiding the
risk of spamming.
Pop-Ups - I know pop-ups have
had a bad press recently, but when used properly they can really enrich your
web site. They are ideal for displaying blow-ups of pictures or special
announcements.
Drop Down Menu - a clever bit
of code that shows a small menu, but expands into more menus when you roll
your mouse over it. Very useful if you have a lot of pages to fit into one
menu.
Tabs - some cool graphics that
can make your web site look like a filing system. Really good if you have a
small number of pages that you want to be accessible no matter where you are.
Scrolling Text - there are
different flavours of this, but they are all good for when you want to display
a lot of text. You may have spotted a couple of these on my home page!
Hit Counter - a useful bit of
code if you want to know how many people are visiting your
site.
Click on any of the options on the left here to take a look
at what these bells and whistles can do for your web site.
Each of these would cost an additional £10 to set up.
